As is tradition when the new year approaches, individuals begin to look inward and determine where improvement or change can happen in their lives. Here’s a sampling of local residents’ 2008 resolutions:
“I would like to relax, take it one day at a time and be thankful for my family and friends. Enjoy every day what life has to offer!” – Heather B.
“To save money. Lots of it!” – Elise
“To teach my son how to play baseball so he can become a pro and support us for the rest of our lives.” – Meredith G.
“To pay better attention to what I’m doing so that when I set things down, I remember where I put them 10 seconds later.” – Jackie L.
“To get better about training my daughters, to give them more responsibility but also to share more of it with them.” – Erin H.
“Mine is to slow down the pace. Try to relax more and get back to where I and my hubby belong on our low-fat diets for our hearts.” – Kate
“To bring cultural diversity to the Plumas Lake activities.” – Jan T.
“My resolution is to not be so shy. And to help more people move to Plumas Lake!” – Nicole B.
“To be the best wife possible.” – Rebecca.
